Picking a right location to do a cutting-edge creative outdoor advertising is most important.
Would you agree with my statement?
Let’s see some case study below..
– Did you spot the "Special Landscaping" of the ad?
The ad incorporated a clever use of the existing landscaping of the
building which has trees and vegetations right above the advertisement.
Now this ad is really bigger than it actually is!
2) Motorola – MotoDanica
The campaign is for a futuristic Bluetooth Earpiece which is promoting
its use to being "cyber", or "robotic" purely on the theme of Sophistication.
A building facade coincidentally has sun shining on 1 side and none on the other
– The flood light meant to illuminate this advertisment in the night
becomes a "cover" over the bra in the nippies area. Hahaha.
Probably the agency that book this site didn’t do a sunlight check.
4) Ford – Mustang "Drive By".
– Its not easy coming up with an innovative car ads these days.
Many parameters had been exploited and ideas used and reused.
This ad below only has the "Mustang" at the corner of the ad.
Strategically meant to create a "quick drive by" feel, the coconut trees
were considered part of the ad.
And using the transparent board that was made of GE Lexan EXL semi-transparent resin,
it gives a "blurs the scene" behind it regardless of the weather and created the impression
that the car was so fast to even capture it on camera.
on the same location on different panels.
It is pretty clear that the "Swimsuit 2007" was installed earlier before
so long that it stretches from the ad all the way to the "mouth" of the model in
the other advertisement. I wonder how will that SwimSuit Advertiser react.
Bet the marketing person hadn’t seen this.
So before you embark on the great outdoors, better ask your ad agency or creative
agency to do some "ground check" to prevent embarassment or
